Given the constantly changing immigration and ICE landscape, risk assessment is not a fixed, but dynamic process. Here are some factors to consider when trying to assess your vulnerability to immigration enforcement:

In addition, consider whether you need to renew your visa and/or passport soon.
Racial profiling: White Europeans and Canadians are not immune from immigration enforcement, but the federal government is escalating its targeting of BIPOC and/or Muslim people.
Home country: You may be at higher risk if the US government is politically, economically, and/or militarily targeting your home country (e.g., most countries in the Middle East and North Africa, China, South Asia, Latin America). In addition, your risk may be higher if your home country is majority Muslim or pursues socialist and/or anti-imperialist policies (e.g., Venezuela).
US genocide of Palestinians: The US government is openly targeting anyone who has stood in solidarity with Palestine and against the US-Zionist genocide of Palestinians.
